1.3. Define Materials

Choose FEM > Model and Part > Keyword Manager from the menus.

  1. Define rigid material for the ball

    1. Select MAT > 020-RIGID from the list.

    2. Click Edit.

    3. Click NewID in the Keyword Input Form dialog.

    4. Enter TITLE: rigid material for ball.

    5. Enter RO = 7.83e-6, enter E = 207, and enter PR = 0.3.

    6. Click Accept.

    7. Click Done.

  2. Define deformable material for the plate

    1. Select 024-PIECEWISE_LINEAR_PLASTICITY from the list.

    2. Click Edit.

    3. Click NewID in the Keyword Input Form dialog.

    4. Enter TITLE: material for plate.

    5. Enter RO = 7.83e-6, enter E = 207, enter PR = 0.3, enter SIGY = 0.2, and enter ETAN = 2.0.

    6. Click Accept.

    7. Click Done.
