Discovery's collaboration capabilities require two additional configuration steps, which are typically performed by your IT department:
Your network must host Ansys Discovery services to enable the collaboration features and the companion web application. These services can be hosted on physical, virtual, or cloud resources provisioned by your IT department.
Your IT department must define a Microsoft Azure AD Application, which does the following:
Enables the hosted services described in point 1 to access Microsoft 365 resources (users, files, and so on).
Provisions Azure storage resources as temporary storage for use by the web application and collaboration services.
By provisioning the services and storage "on-premises," your simulation data is not shared with, or transmitted to, Ansys.
To install Ansys Discovery services, visit the Ansys customer site, www.ansys.com/customercommunity, click , and look in the Discovery section.
