The advanced variant of hybrid NITA may provide better solution stability for cases with strong inter-equation coupling such as highly viscous flow, compressible flow, and moving and deforming meshes. By default, the variant uses 6 outer iterations and does not require the explicit instability detector.
To use the advanced hybrid NITA solver:
Enable beta feature access as described in Introduction.
In the Solution Methods task page, enable the Non-Iterative Time Advancement option and click the button next to it.

The performance of the hybrid NITA solver with the advanced variant is comparable to that with the conservative variant.
