Chemkin

  • New functionality to use Real Gas Property (RGP) table with Batch reactor and Plug Flow reactor models.

  • Added user-defined collision kernel in the sectional method for Batch reactor, Plug Flow reactor, Premixed flame reactors, and Opposed Fow reactors.

  • Added dark mode option for User Interface display.

  • Added option to estimate Exhaust Gas Residual (EGR) composition in Premixed flame models.

  • Added option to estimate liquid density in Multiphase models.

Reaction Workbench

  • New utility for converting thermodynamic data from standard format to NASA9 format.

  • New utility for converting duplicate PLOG reaction rates to single aggregate reaction.

  • Added option to retain nitrogen species when extracting submechanism by removing nitrogen-containing species.

  • Added option to use the InChI species identifier in addition to SMILES during mechanism merge.

Model Fuel Library

  • All MFL mechanisms have been updated. Improvements include:

    • Added gas-Phase autoignition chemistry of ethylene carbonate and dimethyl carbonate, which introduces options for modeling lithium-ion battery thermal runaway.

    • Improved NOx and soot surface chemistry.

  • New pre-reduced MFL mechanisms for conventional and carbon-neutral fuels that incorporate the changes to the full mechanisms:

    • Mechanisms for hydrogen, ammonia, natural gas, propane, methanol, ethanol, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and sustainable aviation fuel.
