This chapter will describe the EnSight User Defined Reader Version 3.0 API. It was designed to have new features that later versions of EnSight can utilize.
Note: SOS Auto-distribution (for example, Server-decompose) for parallel computing, has not been implemented in the 3.0 API. If you need parallel computing, then the reader must be written to decompose the data itself (for example, reader decompose).
