You can perform an automatic connection where the Server starts automatically and connects to the Client, even though the two processes are on different host systems. This type of connection requires some initial setup and is not discussed in the Getting Started with Ansys EnSight manual. However, once configured, the automatic connection lets you start a session in a single step.
