Displaying Environmental Properties

  1. On the Measure tab, click Environmental Properties.
  2. With the Select bodies tool guide active, select one or more bodies to display the environmental property data.
Measures for Climate change (CO2-eq), Embodied energy, and the amount of potentially Recyclable material mass as a percentage are listed in the options panel. These values are based on the assigned materials and volume of the selected bodies.
  3. (Optional) To track the environmental properties of the selected body, click the value and select Create output parameter in the semi-halo. The values will update whenever the assigned material is modified or geometry changes.
When you create output parameters, the Defined variations hex appears in the SID. There you can investigate parameterized geometry changes, make interactive modifications to the model, and perform interactive solves.
  4. (Optional) To record a script, on the File Menu, click Script Editor. When the Script Editor window is active, a Record measurement as a script button is available in the semi-halo of the environmental property.
