Changing the Appearance of Materials

You can make a material appear more realistic by applying color and opacity. For any default material that already exists in the simulation, the appearance properties are preset for optimum visualization. Any newly created materials will not have any preset appearance properties.

Note: These changes will apply wherever this material is assigned in this simulation.
