Working With Layers

Click Layers in the Style ribbon group of the Display tab to open Layers. Select a layer and right-click to access the context menu to do any of the following:

Sort A - Z

Sort Z - A

 Sort layers alphabetically.
Add Layer Create a new layer. This layer becomes the active layer. Any newly created objects are automatically placed on the active layer.
Duplicate Layer Duplicate a layer.
Activate Layer Select a layer to be the active layer. Any newly created objects are automatically placed on the active layer.
Assign to Layer Select one or more objects to assign to the layer.
Show Show the layer.
Hide Hide the layer.
Hide Others Hide the other layers.
Select Objects Select the object
Rename Rename the selected layer.
Note: Layer0 cannot be renamed.
Delete Delete the selected layer.
Note: Layer0 cannot be deleted.
Remove Empty Layers Deletes any layers that are empty.
