Viewing the Solver Log

Each job submitted to Distributed Compute Gateway (DCG) is processed by one or more solving applications. The application produces a log file, providing a complete command record of the session. This log file can be viewed in the DCG portal.

For details on what information the log contains, refer to the appropriate application documentation. The example log shown here is for Ansys Mechanical.

To view the solver log:

  1. In the navigation panel, select Jobs.

  2. Click a job name.

  3. Switch to the Text monitor tab,

  4. Select Solver Output from the Display drop-down menu.

  5. To download the log file, click ... and select Download Report Logs.
