In the Workbench Toolbox, double-click to drag the Chemkin component system to the Project Schematic space. An existing Ansys Chemkin project can be imported either by right-clicking the Setup line of the Chemkin component and then clicking Import Chemkin Project, or by double-clicking the Setup line. These steps open the Chemkin interface.

In the Chemkin user interface, buttons in the ribbon provide options for importing a project or setting up a new Chemkin project.
