3.2.5. Opening Meshing (.cmdb or .dsdb) Files

Opening a .cmdb or .dsdb file loads the mesh and creates an initial physics state, in the same manner as creating a new case.

Important: .cmdb and .dsdb files require the cfxacmo library, which is supplied with Ansys Workbench. If you are unable to load such files into CFX-Pre, one solution is to install Ansys Workbench to make those library files available.
