This section describes the operational changes, the procedural changes (actions that have to be done differently in this release to get an outcome available in Release 2024 R1), and the support changes (functionality that is no longer supported) in Release 2024 R2 of Ansys CFD-Post.
When used in a quantitative calculation in CFD-Post, an injection region locator now applies strictly to the hole/slot portion of an injection region; such a locator no longer includes any mesh faces or parts of mesh faces that do not overlap a hole/slot. As a result, quantitative calculations in CFD-Post that involve an injection region locator's area should not normally require reference to the injection region's associated area fraction variable.
