The basic output produced for all simulations (it appears grayed out because it is the default set of results) contains a voxelized representation of the part with predicted residual stresses and displacements at the end of the build while the part is still attached to the baseplate. Both end-state stresses and maximum stress during the build are contained in this .vtk file. Results may be viewed directly in Ansys Viewer or exported. Additional options allow you to include strain components in the on-plate results file and to generate a distortion compensated .stl file.
