Editing FLIR Thermal Camera Parameters

You can adjust the parameters of a *.thermalpbcam file according to your needs to modify the generation of Thermal maps.

To edit a thermal camera using Thermal Camera Editor:

  1. Browse to the folder in which you saved the Thermal_Camera_Editor folder.
  2. Run LaunchFLIRThermalCameraEditor.bat.
    The Thermal Camera Editor opens.
  3. Click Open Camera and select the *.thermalpbcam that you want to edit.
  4. Modify the thermal camera Automatic Gain Control Parameters (A) as needed.


    Tip: You can:
    • import an irradiance map to change the image shown in the preview area (B). Two irradiance map examples are provided in the Thermal_Camera_Editor folder.
    • see some non editable parameters of the lens system and imager (C).
  5. To save your changes:
    1. click Save Camera As,
    2. type the file name,
    3. click Save.
  6. To stop the Thermal Camera Editor, close both windows.
    Note: The Speos Thermal Camera Editor process may be still running after closing both windows. If so, end the task through Windows Task Manager.
The *.thermalpbcam file is saved.
