Lumerical Data

From version 2023 R1, you can input Lumerical calculation result regarding quantum efficiency. Data from Lumerical are stored into a *.json file. The link to this file is set using the Lumerical data key:

Lumerical data:
   Mode: V2
   Filename: RGB-IR basic EQE.json
From version 2023 R2, there are two Lumerical models and formats for *.json file:
  • Legacy version (V1) that takes into account only Chief ray angle
  • New version (V2) that considers Chief ray angle and Marginal ray angles.

The Mode key indicates which type of input is provided.

In this case, IR & UV Filter, Quantum Efficiency, and Bayer Matrix sub-keys in the EMVA data key are ignored.

If you want to activate Lumerical input, and the sub-keys IR & UV Filter, Quantum Efficiency, and Bayer Matrix, set the sub-keys to From Lumerical data as follows:

   EMVA data:
      IR & UV Filter:
         Filename: From Lumerical data
         Unit:
      Quantum Efficiency:
         Filename: From Lumerical
         Unit:
      Bayer Matrix:
         Type: From Lumerical data
         00 spectrum:
         01 spectrum:
         10 spectrum:
         11 spectrum:
         Unit:

If you want to use the EMVA 1288 model standard and not the Lumerical data, do not fill in the sub-keys.
