Eyebox

The Eyebox is a uniform grid representing the driver's eye position. A multieyebox mode allows you to create several eyeboxes and simulate the perception of the system by drivers of different heights.

You can create various drivers' heights by specifying several eyeboxes, each one corresponding to a driver's height and you can manage their importance in the system by adjusting their Weight

Orientation

The Orientation corresponds to the vertical direction of the Eyebox.

  • Normal to Optical Axis sets the vertical direction of the Eyebox as normal to the optical axis defined thanks to the Target Image section.
  • Normal to Vehicle Axis sets the vertical direction of the Eyebox as normal to the vehicle axis defined in the General section.

Position Direction

The Position Direction corresponds to the direction used to apply the offsets.

  • Normal to Central Eyebox Optical Axis sets the position direction as normal to the nominal driver optical axis defined thanks to the Target Image section.
  • Normal to Vehicle Axis sets the position direction as normal to the vehicle axis defined in the General section.
