Speos Sensor System Exporter Overview

The following page gives you an overview of the Speos Sensor System Exporter and how to use it.

What is Speos Sensor System Exporter

Speos Sensor System Exporter is a standalone tool to post-process Exposure Maps calculated by Speos. Using a Camera Sensor, Speos can generate Exposure Map in front of a CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) or CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) sensor. Speos Sensor System Exporter converts this Exposure Map into a Raw image and developed image or data.

Raw image calculation is based on a Reduce Order Model of the sensor. The model is based on EMVA 1288 standard (release 3.1).

How It Works

Speos Sensor System Exporter comes with a minimal GUI that provides feedback about the calculation performed.

Inputs and main parameters are saved in a file coded with YAML standard. This file is easily editable with a TXT editor. It contains instructions that Speos Sensor System Exporter can execute.

Another YAML code file contains sensor properties.

Speos Sensor System Exporter can be started using a *.bat file with the following command lines inside:

"Path to Speos Sensor System Exporter exe" "Path to Input filename"
Pause

The following chapters presents you how to define The YAML inputs file and YAML sensor properties file.

How to Start

From version 2023 R2, Speos Sensor System Exporter is integrated into the Speos installation. The *.exe file is in Speos viewer folder.
