Projection Lens Overview

Projection lenses are optical lenses that are often used for automotive modules.

Note: The Zernike Face type is in BETA mode for the current release.

Projection lenses are designed to redirect light using the refraction that occurs through the transparent material.

They feature large apertures and short focal lengths and allow to convert a divergent light beam into a collimated one.

In Speos, different types of back and front faces, as well as construction types are available to cover different needs. As a consequence, projection lenses can be toroidal, aspheric, spherical, cylindrical, plano-concave or convex.
