The following procedure helps you set the simulation settings that will be specific to the Optics
Design Exchange feature during a simulation.
Note: Texture options are not supported by the Optical Design Exchange Feature.
To set the simulation options:
-
From the Simulation tree, right-click the Optical Design Exchange
feature.
-
Click Options.
-
In the Meshing section, define the Meshing properties of the geometries.
You can adjust the meshing parameters according to the lens system. For instance, Meshing sav value
could be smaller for small lens apertures and bigger for big lens apertures.
The Meshing allows you to mobilize and concentrate computing power on one or certain areas of a
geometry to obtain a better level of detail in your results. With the meshing settings, you can
lighten memory resources and accelerate simulation in specific cases.
For more information on the Meshing settings, refer to Understanding the
Specific Simulation Options.
The simulation options are set for the Optical Design Exchange feature and will be taken into
account in the simulation.
