Send License

Zemax licenses can be transferred to a different computer or user for a variety of purposes. Licenses can be transferred to different computers by the same user as often as required, however, transferring to different users is limited to 1 transfer per 30 days.

To transfer a license, open Zemax License Manager and click on Send License.  You will see a button Transfer next to any license which can be transferred. Licenses which can be transferred include network licenses where there are no current users. Click Transfer and you will be prompted to enter an email address to send the license to. 

Please note, when you transfer your license, the transfer code is your license and if you lose it, you will need to contact Zemax support to recover it.  You can cc yourself to get a copy of the transfer code. Your email program will automatically open and an email will be generated to the address(es) you chose to transfer to.  At this point, you can no longer use the license on the computer you sent it from.
