Tolerance Data Viewer

The Tolerance Data Viewer reads in a previously saved ZTD file and displays the data in a spreadsheet format. If a saved ZTD file is not selected, the Tolerance Data Viewer will default to display the most recent tolerance run.

Tolerance Data File The name of the ZTD file to use. OpticStudio will look in the folder where the current lens is saved and list all files with the ZTD extension found there.

Statistics Clicking the Statistics button will return basic statistical data for every column in the Tolerance Data Editor.

Discussion

The data that is stored in the ZTD file includes all tolerance operands, compensators, criteria, and reported values during a tolerance run. This includes any reported numbers when using a tolerance script.
