CAD Part: OpticStudio Part Designer

This feature is only available in the Premium and Enterprise editions of Ansys Zemax OpticStudio.

A Part Designer Object is a solid volume created using the OpticStudio Part Designer. A wide variety of complex parametric parts may be created using the Part Designer. A Part Designer Object's only parameters are those exposed by that part.

Prior to using a Part Designer Object, please load the file in Part Designer to ensure there are no errors. In order to maximize performance, limited error checking is performed when the part is used in the editor.

Note that for exposed sketch points, any tangent points are converted to offsets from the curve point. For a complete description of Part Designer see the program documentation for the Part Designer.
