Window Options

The Window Options Button is available in the Window Control Section of the Setup Tab.
These are the window display options, which set the default options for how windows are opened and positioned in the workspace.
Dock All Windows Dock all windows to the workspace. Note that this may create multiple panes in the workspace.
Dock All Windows to Single Workspace Dock all windows in a single pane in the workspace.
Float all Windows Make all windows in the workspace float independently of each other.
Tile All Windows Tile all windows in the workspace.
Cascade All Windows Cascade all windows in the workspace.
Lock All Windows Prevent all open windows from being updated. Useful for generating reference data.
Unlock All Windows Unlock all open windows so they can be updated.
Close All Windows Close all open windows in the workspace.
Workspace The workspace is the area of the user interface which includes all of the docked panes.
Pane A pane is an area of the Workspace which includes one or more analyses/editor windows as tabs.
Docked Docked means to have an analysis/editor window fixed to the Workspace or a pane. If it is not docked, it is "floating". A floating window may not act as a pane, i.e., to include multiple tabs.
