Fields

Field data is shown and can be modified under "Fields" in the System Explorer. Alternatively, the "Open Field Data Editor" button can be used to open a dedicated editor for managing field points, if the user prefers to work in an editor environment.

Field Settings available in the System Explorer include the Type and Normalization. The "Set Vignetting" button can be used to automatically calculate the vignetting factors for all field points. The "Clear Vignetting" button removes vignetting factors for all field points.

For each field point in the System Explorer, the drop-down arrow reveals options that apply to just that field point. A "Delete Field" button can be used to delete the field point. The X, Y, Weight, VDX, VDY, VCX, VCY, and Tangential Angle values can be specified. For more information on the meaning of each value, see the "Current Field" and "Vignetting" sections below.
