Drawing Inputs

The values within the Drawing Inputs tab will be used to populate lens drawings in the accompanying CAD program, as created when Generate Lens Drawings is selected in OpticsBuilder. Each lens surface pair is represented by a labeled tab at the top of the screen. If an element type is chosen to be anything other than "singlet", a tab is created after that element to specify the cement properties.

Note: You will not receive an error if a "singlet" is declared to be something else, such as a "doublet" or "triplet". If there is an air gap, it will be displayed as such in the drawing creation. The accompanying ISO 10110 table will show the "doublet" or "triplet" parameter layout.

For sequential models, some data will be pre-populated from the Lens and Tolerance Data Editors. Other data fields must be entered manually.

For non-sequential models, some data for Standard and Even Asphere lenses will be pre-populated from the Non-Sequential Component Editor.
