Astigmatic Gaussian

The Astigmatic Gaussian beam is an optionally decentered TEM(0,0) mode defined by the beam waist values in X and Y and the beam waist positions in X and Y. The beam waist positions are the distances from the current beam position (defined at the Start Surface and accounting for any non-zero Surface To Beam value) to the beam waists in X and Y (the value is negative if the waist is to the left of the current beam position).

Note that the Astigmatic Gaussian beam is functionally identical to the Gaussian Size+Angle beam described above. The Astigmatic Gaussian beam option is simply provided as an alternative to the Gaussian Size+Angle beam option for applications in which the waist values and waist positions of the beam are known rather than the beam size and far-field divergence angle.
