Platform Presentation & Logic
Find below a brief presentation of the Ansys SimAI platform.
Access
The Ansys SimAI platform is directly accessible through this URL: https://simai.ansys.com/.
Once you are added as a member of an organization, you receive an email invitation to sign into the Ansys SimAI platform. This email contains a set of unique credentials that can only be used by you.
The first time you log in, the application prompts you to update your password. Upon login, you are redirected to your dedicated organization account.
Interface
Projects View
The Projects view is destined to simulation and methods engineers.
Projects are used to build AI models based on simulation data that were uploaded in the platform as training data. One project contains all the training data and configuration that are intended to be used in building the next model iterations.
Each model iteration creates a workspace.
Workspaces View
The Workspaces view is destined to simulation experts and designers wanting to test out new designs and predict physical fields.
Training Data - Datalake View
The Datalake or Training data view gathers all the training data uploaded by all users of your organization. It acts as a training database that you can search through to select and import training data points to your working projects.
User Menu
The "User menu" is located in the top right corner of the application window. It gathers several useful links to user settings (user profile, user management), support, and documentation. From this menu, you can also sign out from the application. For more information, see User Settings.
Logic
The platform has been built to match different personas and needs, namely between simulation, methods, and design engineers. As a result, the platform follows a specific logic about what type of interaction with the AI model should be performed and where to perform it in the platform.
- [Data Performative studies] If you are a simulation or methods engineer and intend to compare the performance of different data points but keep model configurations, use Workspaces.
- [Model Performative studies] If you are a simulation or design engineer and intend to compare the performance of your AI models, use Projects to change model configurations.
