Windows - Silent (Headless)

  1. Open a command prompt.
  2. Enter the following command and press the Enter key:
ModelCenter_vYY.X.exe /install /passive SLAACCEPT=yes

where YY.X is the version number.

Note: do not use quotation marks around the SLAACCEPT argument.

Windows - Typical

  1. Double-click the ModelCenter installer executable. The Clickwrap Software License Agreement dialog displays.
    Click in the check box to agree to the terms and conditions.

  2. Click in the "I agree to the license terms and conditions" check box to select it. Then click the Install button to start the installation process.

    Tip: To set a custom install location, click the Options button to access the Setup Options page:
    Set a custom install location by clicking the Options button and entering the location in the field.

    To install ModelCenter MBSE functionality, ensure the Install ModelCenter MBSE check box is selected.

  3. The Setup Progress screen displays and shows the progress of the installation. Other windows may briefly display during the installation process.

    The bar shows the relative progress of the installation.
  4. The Installation Successfully Completed screen displays when the installation is finished. Click the Close button.
    When the installation is complete, click the Close button.
Note: When the installation has finished, the Ansys Client Licensing Settings utility may not appear. This is most likely because the ModelCenter licensing was configured properly when ModelCenter Remote Execution was installed.
