How to Use the optiSLang Plug-In

Note: optiSLang must be instaaled in order to use the optiSLang Plug-In.
  1. Create a new workflow using the File > New menu item or by clicking the New Model button on the Standard or File toolbar. Either action will open a Windows dialog to save the new workflow.

  2. Drag the optiSLang component from the Server Browser and drop it into the Analysis View.

  3. The Initialize PACZ dialog opens. Select the option that best describes the files for your workflow, then select the folder or file as needed. For more information on the Initialize PACZ dialog options, click the Help button in the dialog.

    The Initialize PACZ dialog lets you choose how to set up the files and folders for your workflow.
  4. The optiSLang Plug-In Component dialog opens with a file dialog. Select the .opf file and click the Open button.

    Browse for the location of the .opf file and then click the Open button.
  5. The selected file will load in the optiSLang Plug-In Component dialog. Select the variables that you want to use and then click the OK button.

    The Select Variables to include in the Model dialog displays all available variables.
  6. The selected variables will load in the optiSLang Plug-In. Click the Apply button to save the variables to the ModelCenter workflow.

  7. Close the optiSLang Plug-In. Click the green Play button in ModelCenter (either on the toolbar or on the optiSLang component itself) to run the workflow.
