Coatings
Updates to the Coatings data table, part of the Advanced Materials – Aerospace data bundle.
The database is co-developed by Ansys and Corrdesa (experts
on advanced materials and coatings) and contains records covering over 140
different coatings, where categories include anodize, corrosion inhibitor,
conversion coating and electro/electroless plating.

Updates include the addition of new coatings records covering metal flake-filled paints, primers, corrosion inhibitors, conversion treatments and electro (anodize, electroplate) or electroless plate coatings. These records contain compositional, typical use, and processing and performance data, and they increase the database coverage with some of the latest coatings relevant to the aerospace industry.
