Changing the level of logging
The level of logs that are produced by default can be increased if you are troubleshooting potential issues. For MI Materials Gateway client logging, you can control the types of messages provided in the logs using the local diagnostic settings.
When MI Gateway is installed, you can specify a default for each diagnostic setting, and these defaults are stored in GConfiguration.ini.
If the default is not enforced, then you can switch settings locally.
Unless there is a specific reason to use enhanced logging routinely, you should accept the defaults for all diagnostic settings when installing Gateway, and only increase the logging levels when more detailed log information is needed for troubleshooting.
