Many people have contributed to the development of the Granta EduPack Materials Science and Engineering package. Stéphane Gorsse Associate Professor at the Bordeaux Institute of Technology (Bordeaux INP) and researcher at the Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry of Bordeaux (ICMCB-CNRS), France has worked in partnership with the Granta team to agree the direction of development and be an unbiased pair of eyes for review. We particularly also wish to acknowledge the constructive inputs and reviews provided by Professor John Nychka of the University of Alberta and Dr. Hugh Shercliff of the Engineering Department, Cambridge University.

The image used to represent the Materials Science and Engineering database was kindly contributed by George Vander Voort. It is cartridge brass, color tint etched using Klemm's III reagent and viewed with polarized light.

The Spanish language datasheets, user interface, and science notes were significantly updated in 2018 through the hard work of current students and graduates of the Departamento de Ciencia de Materiales, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
