Updates to Global Polymers Plastics data, included in the Level 3 Polymer database.

Comprehensive data for plastic grades and plastics additives. Includes plastics data from Prospector Plastics, with more than 107000 data sheets from over 1000 manufacturers. More than 15000 additives data records provide key properties for additive, filler and masterbatch products, that can be compounded with plastic materials to enhance performance or safety, reduce weight and cost, or improve processing processes.

Plastics

The Plastics data table has been updated with the latest records and data from UL Prospector. This includes several new polymer datasheets and updates to existing datasheets, bringing the total number of grades to over 107,000.

The Additives data table has been updated with the latest records and data from UL Prospector, including several new additive datasheets and updates to existing datasheets, bringing the total number of additives to over 15,000.

Increased coverage of commercial grades containing simulation-ready data for temperature-dependent properties including, but not limited to, tensile stress vs strain, tensile modulus vs. temperature and specific heat capacity. The new grades are:

Dielectric Constant and Dissipation Factor
Improvements have been made to the frequency-based Dielectric Constant and Dissipation Factor datasets. Frequency-based data is turned into curve data and exporters for Ansys Electronics Desktop are added to enable users to export these datasets which can be used in simulation directly.
