Logging in to MI Materials Gateway

The first time you use MI Materials Gateway, you may be prompted to log in. To check your credentials at any other time, click in the navigation bar and select Settings > Log in.

If MI Materials Gateway has been configured to use your Windows credentials, you are logged in automatically when you start Gateway.

Otherwise, MI Materials Gateway starts with the Log in screen displayed, to allow you to enter alternative credentials. Where possible, these will be saved so that you won't need to enter them again.

Note: The authentication method that you use to log in to Granta MI, and the alternative options that may be available to you, are configured by your Granta MI administrator.
To enter alternative credentials:
  1. Click the Authentication method list and select Username/password (or Open ID Connect, if this is used on your system).
  2. Enter the credentials that you use to connect to Granta MI, and click Log in. (For Open ID Connect, you are prompted to enter your credentials on a separate web page.)

If you still can't log in, you may need to check both the Log in credentials on this screen, and your Granta MI connection settings
