Using Consistent Unit Systems

The Ansys Material Calibration Service relies on the units provided with your test data to fit models to your data.

Before importing data, go to Settings and make sure you are using one of the following unit systems, and that any data imported from CSV files use the same units:
  • SI (Consistent)
  • FPS (Consistent)
  • IPS (Consistent)
Other unit systems may result in unit conversion errors when used with the Ansys Material Calibration Service.
