Selecting a model

When you have added your test data, you can select one or more models to fit to it. You will only be able to choose models that are compatible with your test data.

The details of the available models, and the constraints on the test data that they can be used in is covered in the Mechanical APDL Material Reference.

Note: When importing data from Granta MI records (Granta MI Enterprise only), the attributes imported from each record (and therefore the models made available) are configured separately for each database and table. Contact your Granta MI administrator if you cannot import the data you want, or you cannot see the models you expected.
To select models:
  1. On the application toolbar on the left of the window, click Select a model.
  2. Use the check boxes to select one or more models.
    Only models compatible with your test data are displayed. So, for example, Bergstrom-Boyce and TNM will only be available if you have time as an input parameter in your data.
  3. Click OK.

The names and coefficients of currently-selected models are displayed in the Models panel to the left of the plot area. For example:
