Exporting calibration results

When you have calibrated your test data, you can save model coefficients to new or existing records in Granta MI.

To export your calibration results:
  1. Click Export.
  2. Select the model you would like to export and click OK.
  3. Add calibration notes or comments, if required. Click OK.
  4. To export to an existing record, set Record type to Select record. and select the record from the browse tree.
  5. To export to a new record, set Record type to Create new record, then enter the Record name and choose the folder where the new record will be placed.
  6. Click Export Data.

The database, Tables, and Attributes you can export coefficients to are configured for each model. The Material Calibration App displays all options configured for the model being exported. Contact your Granta MI administrator if you want to export your calibration results to a different location.

In Granta MI Enterprise systems, if the Table to which results are exported is version-controlled:
  • Any new records created will be Unreleased.
  • For existing records, a new, Unreleased version will be created.
Unreleased records are only visible to Write users and higher in MI Viewer and MI Explore. Therefore, Read users will not be able to view the data exported from the Material Calibration app until the relevant Unreleased record versions are released.
