Creating model

Create, train, and test a model based on data stored in Granta MI. Assign transforms and attributes to feature matrix columns, and choose record data to populate feature matrix rows for training and test datasets.

When you first open Training you will see the Select or create a model page, where you can view and manage existing models, and create new ones.

To create a new model:
  1. Click Create new model.
    Tip: To clone an existing model, select a model, then click Clone model.
  2. In the dialog, enter a Name for the model, and a Description if required.
  3. Click Save.

After saving the new model, three tabs will be displayed: Define Matrix, Populate Matrix, and Train. Any changes you make on these tabs are saved automatically.
