Published Favorites Lists can be withdrawn, so that they are no longer available. For
example, you may wish to withdraw a list because it has been superseded by a newer list.
When a list is withdrawn, all subscriptions to it are cancelled, and only List
Administrators and the List Author can see it. If required, the withdrawn list can be
re-published, and people can re-subscribe to it.
To submit a withdrawal request:
-
Select the list in the Lists panel, then right-click and choose
A 'Pending approval' flag will then be shown in the list status area, but the list
will be available until the withdrawal is approved.
Tip: To cancel your withdrawal request, right-click and choose .
-
If you have List Publisher privileges, you can approve or reject lists that are
pending approval:
-
Review the list content, and add any notes as required.
-
Right-click and choose or .
When the request is approved or rejected, the list's status is updated.
- If the request is approved, the list is withdrawn.
- If the request is rejected, the 'Pending approval' flag is removed and the
list remains published.
Note: The person who submitted the withdrawal request will not receive any
automatic notification about the approval or rejection of their
request.
If required, a withdrawn list can be re-published. See Publishing a Favorites List.
