Plot inputs and outputs on a 2D graph

Create a plot of an input and output feature, setting all other model inputs to a specified value.

Select a model

When you open Visualize, you will be taken to the Select a model to view page. This page displays all the trained models you have permission to view.

To select a model and plot its input and output features, either:

  • Click a model to select it, then click Plot model features on the toolbar.
  • Right-click a model and select Plot model features from the menu.
Tip: If you navigate to View correlation matrix or View model outputs from the Plot model features page, the current model will be used.

Plot model features

When you go to the Plot model features page, the Input and Output fields are populated with the model's first input and first output feature (listed alphabetically). All other input features are set to the minimum value of their Model range.

Tip: You can pre-populate the fields on the Plot model features page with results from the Optimize app by clicking Visualize: Plot features on an Optimize results page.

To create a 2D plot:

  1. Select the Input feature you want to plot on the x-axis from the drop-down list.
  2. Select the Output feature you want to plot on the y-axis from the drop-down list.
  3. If required, set axis scales to Logarithmic by selecting the checkbox.
  4. Edit the fixed values for the remaining input features in the table:
    • Click a cell in the Value column to edit it.
    • The Correlation of each input feature with the selected Output is listed for reference, as well as the Model range.
  5. Click Visualize.

Follow these steps again to edit the plot or create a new one.
