Editing Integer data

Integer Attributes store numbers that are whole, or without a decimal point, and that range in value from -2147438648 through 2147438648.

For example:

Integer Attributes used to store unique numeric values, for example IDs, may be configured to prevent duplicate values from being entered. Where an Attribute has a uniqueness constraint applied to it, MI Viewer will check to see if the value you entered is already being used in another record.

To edit Integer data:
  1. Open the datasheet of interest and click Edit this data on the left of the Attribute name.
  2. Edit the data value.
  3. Select the Not Applicable option if this Attribute is not relevant for this record. This will remove all existing data when you click Save.
  4. Optional: You may be able to add metadata about the data value, such as statistical information or notes about the source of the data.
  5. Optional: You can add information about any changes that you make on the Notes tab.
  6. Click Save to save all your changes.
Note: if an integer Attribute requires a unique value (configured in MI Admin), MI Viewer will check to see if the value you entered is already being used in another record; if yes, you cannot save your changes to the data, and a message similar to this is displayed with the name of the Attribute and the duplicate value:  "No changes have been saved. There is already a record with Attribute 'AttributeA' set to value 'ValueX'.
