Verifying the installation

To verify that the installation was successful and all components are installed and configured correctly, follow these steps.

Before you start, ensure that the Granta MI Pro databases have been loaded. To quickly check, open MI Server Manager on the application server and see that the databases are listed and their Database status is OK.

Open the MI Pro web application:

http://my.server.name/grantami

The account you use to log in must be a member of one of the Granta MI Pro Window system security groups (MI_READ, MI_POWERUSER, or MI_ADMIN). After installing Granta MI Pro for the first time, you may find you need to log out of the application server to ensure that your group memberships are updated before you can see the home page or launch any applications.

After successfully logging in as an authorized user, you will see the Granta MI Pro home page.

Click the ‘MI’ logo in the top left corner to see a menu of available applications.
