Importing Projects

SIwave enables you to import a project from a variety of sources.

Types of files SIwave can import include:

• IPC2581
• ODB++
• DXF 
• GDSII
• Mentor (i.e, Board Station RE/XE, ODB++ (EE7.9.1 or later), HKP (up to EE2007.8), and Pads)
• Ansys EDB
• ANF
• MDL
• XFL
• Template

To import a project, click the Import tab.

Select the option for the type of file/folder you would like to import. Then browse to the file and click Open.

The import of some file types requires additional steps. Those are:

• IPC2581
• Altium Designer R10 ODB++
• DXF
• GDSII
• Component
• RLC Part Values
