Exporting SIwave Temperature Files
Icepak enables you to export temperature data for use in SIwave. The Icepak design must contain a PCB linked to an HFSS 3D Layout design with a DC IR Solution setup. See Coupling SIwave DC IR Loss for information on DC IR loss coupling between SIwave and Icepak.
Temperature data files from projects containing an Icepak PCB native 3D component can be exported. Layout components are not currently supported.
You can also access the export menu by right-clicking on the design in the Project Manager.
The temperature data (SIwave.sitemp) file is exported to a Project_Name.aedtexport directory created within the project folder. The SIwave.sitemp file contains nodal temperatures for import into SIwave.
