Using or Viewing Selection Objects
To view the objects included in an object selection:
- In the History Tree, expand the Named Selection branch.
- Right-click the desired selection, and click Select Assignment.
The objects that are included in that selection are highlighted in the Modeler window, and the attributes appear in the docked Properties window.
To view the properties of the object selection (including a list of the objects in the selection):
- In the History Tree, expand the Named Selection branch.
- Right-click the selection you want to view and click Properties.
The Properties dialog box appears. The objects included in the selection appear as comma-separated names in the Objects row.
- Click OK or Cancel to close the Properties dialog box.
To use an object from a selection in another operation:
- In the History Tree, expand the Named Selection branch.
- Right-click the desired selection and click Select Assignment.
The objects that are included in that selection are highlighted in the Modeler window, and the attributes appear in the docked Properties window.
- Holding Ctrl, select any additional objects you might want to use in the operation.
- Complete the operation.
For example, you could select an object selection and an additional object, and then execute one of the Boolean commands (such as Unite or Subtract).
