Adding a Solution Setup for HFSS 3D Layout
Each set of unsolved solution parameters is listed as a setup under Analysis in the Project Tree.
To add a new solution setup to a project using initial meshing tools:
- Do one of the following:
- From the HFSS 3D Layout menu, open Solution Setup.
- From the Project Manager window, expand the Project Tree and right-click Analysis.
- To open the Solution Setup window, select a solution type from the menu.
The easiest way to set up a solution is to accept the Fixed Mesh and Frequency defaults that appear in the HFSS 3D Layout or HFSS setup window, then click OK, which automatically opens the Sweep window. Click OK to accept the sweep with the suggested defaults. Alternately, change the default values or add more setups by referring to one or more of the following topics.
