AMI Impulse Response versus Time

To plot the impulse responses in the time domain:

  1. Select Create Standard Report>Rectangular Plot.
  2. Select your AMI Analysis as the Solution ; Initial Response as the Domain; Voltage as the Category; InitialImpulseResponse, IntermediateImpulseResponse, or FinalImpulseResponse as the Quantity; and <none> as the Function.

The following chart shows all three impulse responses.

Note:

When the AMI transmitter model contains an AMI_GetWave function, the Intermediate Impulse Response in the graph is not the one that is applied unless the transmitter’s AMI_Init and AMI_GetWave functions perform identical modifications.

When the AMI receiver model contains an AMI_GetWave function, the Final Impulse Response in the graph is not the one that is applied unless the receiver’s AMI_Init and AMI_GetWave functions perform identical modifications.
