Maximum Normal Deviation (Angle)

Maximum Normal Deviation is the maximum angular deviation between any two normals on a curved surface approximated by a faceted triangulation. The following figures illustrate the effect of using different maximum normal deviation angles on a cylindrical surface. In the following figure, the cylinder radius is 0.5 mm and its height is 1.5 mm.
