To export layout data, on the File menu, select Export > GDSII to open an explorer window. Then select GDSII or GDSII (Stream) to open the GDSII Export window.
Text that is Hershey font are exported as polygons, that is, the text is thickened.
Note:
The Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT)TM electronics systems design platform assumes exported GDSII files require a resolution of 1nm. If users export GDSII files with a resolution less than 1nm, the user can change the value of the parameter by creating the environment variable ANSYS_GDSII_EXPORTER_RESOLUTION and entering an appropriate value (e.g., ANSYS_GDSII_EXPORTER_RESOLUTION=0.5nm).
